On the contrary, that's almost standard practice these days. Flex the prices up, and if they don't sell at the marked-up price, you flex them back down. Happens all the time especially with Ticketmaster US.

"Dynamic pricing", they call it.

Just saw that if you buy a Stones ticket through AXS, they offer you discounted tickets to The Eagles, Pearl Jam or Duran Duran.

It's interesting that they do it so early in the game. I'm not sure I can attend any other shows in HP though. It looks like a lot of people really don't have money for entertainment.

The July 3rd offer is less generous: Primary Entry GA at £89.95 and Gold VIP Hydeaway for £289.95.

(Those two are, in fact, the only available ticket categories for that show on AXS to begin with, so at this point it would seem the second Hyde Park show has sold better.)

the funny thing is if you buy one ticket for another act you are able to by multiple discounted tickets for the Stones

How did I find it? I just went on AXS to see what they had for Stones tickets for Hyde Park.

Not rocket science

Now, I would think that this "multi-event offer" has only been launched fairly recently, because otherwise people would have noticed it already.

I saw this a month ago but only GA Primary Entry was available at that time.

it's too bad it doesn't work if you want to buy tickets to a second stones show.. I have tickets for the 25th and tried adding tickets for the 3rd but it didn't seem to change the price.

No, it only works if you buy Pearl Jam/Duran Duran/Eagles now - and you have to buy the Stones ticket at the same time. Separate transactions / adding tickets to a previous order doesn't work.

BST Hyde Park just announced more acts for the Eagles show.

That lineup for Eagles is really something.
Little Big Town and CAM are absolutely terrific live acts.

Whichever date Stones fans are going the lineup for London looks great. I'm over the moon about War on Drugs as I was about to buy tickets for them in Bristol a couple of days after the Stones!

The lineup on the 25th is unbelievably good.

I’m over the moon, too, as I will see Rammstein in Coventry the following day of Hyde Park#1 and PB’s Birmingham date clashes with them hence have to miss her up there in the Midlands.

Christone Kingfish Ingram is really good. Saw him open for Buddy Guy. I saw Phoebe Bridgers open for Conor Oberst before she made it and was a star in the making. Already have War on Drugs at Rock Werchter so excited for the two-fer.

I was hoping for Liam Gallagher again, but good to see so many are happy about this line-up!

BTW/FYI Phoebe Bridgers doesn’t like Eric Clapton. It is pre-COVID and irrelevant to his vaccination rant, though.
