No this is legit. And it's good.
You can buy and sell tickets tru ticketmaster, they will issue a new ticket (barcode) so the ticket is 100% real.
Some promoters or artists only allow tickets to be resold for the original price, If it is allowed to ask a higher price (isually there is a maximum) you can adjust the price you want to ask for your ticket.
They will send you an email about it closer to show day.

Coming in from the US, I am staying near the Vondelpark/museum area at first (--love it), and then the night of the show, if plans come true, am staying right near the stadium. Then I can find my way back to the airport the next morning. Or you could try to get a place near the airport.

I have similar questions…I’m flying in on Friday. Does it make more sense to stay somewhere “center city” and then move to the Holiday Inn Express for Monday? Or is the arena location better than I think?
How difficult will transportation be from the center city to/from the arena?
Any input is greatly appreciated!

I would try to stay near Leidseplein the days before the concert. There's live music Sunday evening in a bar called the Waterhole. You can check out Paradiso and The Melkweg too. Many great bars around.You may try hotel Park Centraal.

You'll think I would have a hard time finding a parking space in one of the surrounding parking garages around the ArenA the evening of the concert? I tried to buy a parking ticket under the stadium with my concert ticket but they were sold out already (expensive too btw).

Amsterdam is very well connected by public transport (trains, metro and trams).
I suggest you pick a hotel closer to a metro station, so that in the morning you can walk to that station and ride the train to the airport.
I'm staying in the Weesperplein region, where the metro will take me both to the airport and the stadium.
I'm also catching a train early next morning, after the show

Does somebody have an original map of that venue, with full seat chart?
The reason is a need of additional tickets on side market and I would like to fix what are "normal" prices.
