Munich Airport was closed this Friday evening, from around 18:30 (6:30pm) for may be half an hour or more. I was on a flight with Lufthansa, due to land 18:50. We were in waiting circles between Munich and Salzburg from 18:40 and on, doing many large turns until the heavy thunderstorms finally left the airport, and we could land at 19:20. Once landed, and at the gate, the airport ground service was still closed for another 15-20 minutes, no ground staff were allowed to work, due to security issues (thunderstorms). Welcome to rainy Munich!

Thanks for your Munich weather report. I'm really worried about Sunday, but still have some faith that it will change to good weather...
My first Stones concert was exactely 40 years ago in Munich with heavy rain, but I was young...
This will be my last ever Stones concert, a very personal experience and again in Munich, where it started for me.. But I want to have it this time with NO RAIN or thunderstorm etc.. okay a little rain is no problem.. God, or Keith, please help...

We can not do anything about the weather, except do some proper dressing. Fast is it will rain a lot for the next seven days in Munich, mainly Tuesday and Wednesday next week. Today and Monday will be mostly sunny and ok. The show day Sunday will have some showers, hopefully before show time. They often perform great and do fun shows in rain, but they do not play much acoustic guitars in rain, so we will see.
