Seems a majority of "Lucky Dips" this time around haven't been so lucky, though I've read of a few nice ones.
While the price is right (and it is a gamble), would have been great for all to be given decent seats at least vs. the many side view, obstructed, nosebleeds, etc. we've seen -
especially considering the Lucky Dips are mainly for the true fans with the link found specifically on the official site. The Stones could have made it much better for the true fans.

I doubled up with another fan who also had LDs. We collected his pair 1st, which were Section 421, right up in the rafters. There were stadium staff there to escort dippers inside so we slink off and sold out dud dips for €20 each. After a wait, we returned to try mine. They were looking out for double dippers because they challenged one woman they recognised. She snatched something from their hands and ran away with them shouting at her to return (presumably pit tickets?) An occasional poster on here too but I’m not naming her

So onto my dips. They too were duds - section 422. We met some people who asked for a swap so we decided to do the same thing. So my enterprising Argentinian gig buddy asked. After initially being declined, they caved. After one more dud, he asked if he could pick his own envelope. The ticket man hinted where the good ones were. Pit B, Keith’s side. Wow!!! We entered around 6.30, getting 2nd row off to the side. It was disappointing not to get Gimme Shelter but beggars can’t be choosers and I thought the band did very well to perform as they did in that horrible heat. Kudos to the security for giving out unlimited free water and letting everyone take in a 1 litre bottle each.

Ta . The upgrade was all down to him and his persistence. In such awful heat, I’d have been happy with a seat, but not one in the roof! Just Paris left for me now and the worst an LD will be there is GA and the front of GA is decent at most shows. Like many others, I was able to get a single LD there.

well, it depends on how fast they are handing out the LDs. If it takes them very long GA for Lucky Dippers won't be very decent…

It was my dips we got upgraded - we'd already sold my gig buddy's duds. But the negotiations were all the handiwork of said gig buddy. Lots of smiles, pleading and Latino charm and the job's a good 'un Good night for my lifetime 41st show.

Overall I think LD outcomes were generally very poor last night and largely have been for most of this tour.

As long as they dish out the dips quickly in Paris then the front of GA will be fine. The sound is usually good there and you can see the whole stage.

I was 2nd row slightly off to the side last night but In many ways I think front of GC/back of the pit near the catwalk is better because you can see the whole stage.

Neither in the latest mail nor online I could find information about LD (Pickup time? Place?)

OK. Never heard of LDs having a transfer feature. Maybe it's some glitch on TM Sweden's part.

Lucky Dip pickup for Paris starts at 5pm on Saturday, exactly the same time as doors open. There's a good chance they'll let us straight in without having to queue beside the people with normal tickets. That's what they did at all the U Arena shows in 2017 and many who got GA were able to score very good spots as long as they entered immediately.

I don't see "transfer" but I do see "forward". But then the terms seem to refer to the forwarding process as a "transfer"?

My non-transferable Hyde Park tix had that feature.. but definitely weren't.

I am attending the show and simply using different tickets. So I will be there to collect them and handle them over.

I’m holding my fingers crossed already for my Stockholm LD’s.
