The 1975 NYC Flatbed truck comes to mind.
I'm sure he's worn jeans more than just a few times probably in other colours not so much the traditional blue jean

I always thought the clip from the Four Flicks Documentary was funny when they're backstage before opening night and Mick gets mad because Charlie's wearing red and he has a blue jacket on. "Oh dear...". It's such a British moment.

I often wore black suits to concerts, it allows you to move freely where ever you want.
Believe it or not, I mostly used this to get access to clean and tidy facilities at venues.
