Yes, I agree. 1981 / 1982 was their last Rock'n Roll tour. Everything after this was different, more pollished or "Las Vegas". But this does not mean, they should have dtopped or anything like that. They changed after a crisis, they got older etc.Quote

I think the late seventies was the last time the Stones really mattered. Producing new albums every other year and bringing them onstage. In many ways the 1981/82 tour was the farewell to that.

Hey, where are the dynamic range measurement guys?

StonedRamblerThis is the usual euphoria in the beginning. Then the guys with the dynamic range mesurements come ahead and from there it's downhillQuote

now it's just being released but i predict that this will end up being the most well received release from the stones on this site in a long time

or there's always that guy that complains about the way Jagger sings.
Already going strong at the Steve Hoffmann forum. But I will not post it here. So many people saying it sounds good speaks for itself. Actually the DR isn't that bad, there have been more compressed releases in recent yearsQuote

They still play concerts and we love them.
But this El Mocambo release is showing how vital they were in the late 70s.

there were overdubs done for LYL in 1977 so any that appear on this record may have been added then

Do the bootlegs of this have overdubs?
I’m interested to know what’s been overdubbed because my guess is there are definitely some guitars being replaced.
