Yes The Greek, I know they sound great. My former guitar teacher bought a prototype of the MK1 from his then teacher in Berkley: Larry Carlton. The Amp doesn't even have a serial number. He still owns the amp like a holy grail.
I myself bought a full option MKIII with an EV 12" speaker in 1986. Definitely more aggressive than the MKI but still a very good Amp. Too heavy to take it out to play by now. My back.

I speculate WLB is co-sung by Keith and Ron (as it was to be in 79).
Maybe it was sung during the 5/3 gig as a make-up for the lack of "Happy"? Myabe they did WLB as a musical testament for what could have been the last gig before a looong (jail) time?
The song held a special place in Keith's heart as he did it again a few days later during his solo piano "Toronto sessions".

Bob Dylan at The Ryman had a strict no-cell phone use policy. I loved it. Seeing Jack White April 30. He also has a similar policy.
It can be done, and I hope more artists start doing it, at least for the bands I like. The artists that have crowds mainly composed of those in their 20's and younger can keep letting their fans bring and use cell phones. Hell, if they had a no cell phone policy, they'd lose their minds because many of them don't know how to function without them. Pretty sad.

Would you like a list of their singles he DID play bass on? How about the lead off song on Exile? On Some Girls? How about every concert they played since he joined until he stepped away? And think how much better the above songs might have been with Bill on them.
Nico posted that he'd been told that. Seems odd that they'd play a full length show with Keith not singing lead on any songs. I know its happened occasionally since the practice started in 1972, but very rarely.
I dont think its ever been confirmed where each of the 4 LYL songs are from. Its been assumed theyre from the second night. As I mentioned earlier, the intros are certainly from March 5th as Mick references 'the bottom pincher from last night'. The bootleg seems to be from both nights as 'Worried about you' is on it.
How about the songs Keith didn't play guitar on? Or Charlie played on? Or Mick didn't sing on?
Interesting, sure, but not anything determining a career.
I understood that a listener has confirmed the band intro and LLR to be from March 4, the rest from March 5. But that bottom pincher remark does not seem to fit that date.

The bottom pincher remark isn't part of the band intro, it comes between Mannish Boy and Crackin' Up.
May I answer that? No. There is not. And I thank Honestman for the new(er) pics. God almighty. That Boogie. Those sounds. The very ragged Jagger. Ronnie in top form. Keith on his eleventh hour. Billie and of course the amazing duo: Charlie and Ollie that defined 1975-1977. Bill on top of his game as always. This is the holy grail. Now if only a soundboard from -66.

Bill in the last years of his militancy in the Stones, was often absent and disinterested, so much so that very often he was replaced by Ronnie or Keith. So it wasn't Bill waiting for Keith outside the bathroom, but the other Stones waiting for Bill.
I don't know where you get that impression. Most accounts of studio time with the Stones have Bill and Charlie arriving first, and then waiting. And waiting. The only time they had to kowtow to Bill was when he told them he was leaving. He's not on two or three throw away songs on Steel Wheels, probably because he was getting married. But excepting Continental Drift, he's on all the songs that matter. Bill always made the best songs better.
Harlem Shuffle is the best thing on Dirty Work, and it's a great Bill song. Ronnie had one good bass part playing bass for the Stones, Emotional Rescue.
And he's great on El Mocambo. His playing often brings a sense of humor to songs. Try doing that with a bass.
The tracks without Wyman were done when he was off dealing with his future marital disaster's health issues.
However, I'm not accusing Bill of anything, I'm just saying he wasn't the saint that many paint. Bill is the only Stones who has often been assende, there must be a reason! Charlie has always been on all tracks except IORR which was recorded at Ronnie's house and Charlie wasn't there, like no other Stones but Mick.
No one said he was a saint. But he was a professional. Never missed a gig with the Stones. Never endangered the group by his arrests. (Pissing on a service station wall didn't stop anything). How about 'Heaven', where it's only him, and the two Micks? Or 'Moonlight Mile' where Keith doesn't participate? Except for maybe 'SFTD', I can't think of a Stones song Bill might have not been able to play on as good, or better. And no Charlie wasn't on all tracks. Ever heard of You Can't Always Good What You Want? Jimmy Miller. 'I Just Want To See His Face'. 'Shine A Light' - Jimmy Miller. 'Happy' - Jimmy Miller.
