Slightly off-topic: there's a 18-disc Vinyl-Box: "The Rolling Stones Singles: Volume One 1963-1966". Release-date is 27-May-2022, Label is Universal Music - [www.Amazon.co.uk] , [www.Amazon.co.jp] .

Decca's way on cash in for the 60th anniversary

So if it's 'Decca', that would mean if it's the UK releases we won't actually get the picture sleeves? That would be too bad.

Hasn't this already been done? What collector doesn't have this yet? That's as bad as Japan selling SHM CD Stones singles for $50 when you throw in shipping. What idiot would collect that when you can get the same recording on a Greatest Hits SHM CD package for the same price?

How can they sell it as THE ROLLING STONES when forty percent of the group didn't play? Mick, Keith and Ron may equal what's left now, but not then.

60% is a majority. In the USA, that would be a landslide election victory.

PLUS, this is a reissue. Where was the write-in campaign when this was first released?

While I like the red and white vinyl, I’ll stick with the original Ward release which has it all and is a mighty fine collection.

I personally love the 7” size of those Japanese singles along with Beggars and I think LIB? If they redid the entire catalog in 7” sized cds, I’d be forced to buy the whole damn thing again. Miniature LP versions along the lines of the 1990’s 71-81 LP’s for the entire catalog would be divine.

I don't actually. Between child support for 3 kids still, wife #2's expensive lifestyle, and what I have left, there's barely anything in the bank account. I live a very different frugal lifestyle myself that allows me to indulge where I choose.

And far be it from me to judge what anyone else does with his/her money. Personally, I don't understand how many on this board afford to go to as many shows as they do all over the world. But if one can do it, all the best to him/her. We are all just trying to live our only little bit of happiness.

I do really enjoy the look of this red & white vinyl though. This is easily one of my Top 5 favorite Stones-related live releases. Listening to it right now actually. It's great. Mick Jag-ger!!! Mick Jag-ger!!!

Amazon hasn't corrected the error yet. Here at least all 45 Tracks:

Come On · I Want To Be Loved · I Wanna Be Your Man · Stoned · Bye Bye Johnny · Money · You Better Move On · Poison Ivy · Not Fade Away · Little By Little · Tell Me · I Just Want To Make Love To You · It's All Over Now · Good Times, Bad Times · If You Need Me · Empty Heart · 2120 South Michigan Avenue · Confessin' The Blues · Around And Around · Time Is On My Side · Congratulations · Little Red Rooster · Off The Hook · Heart Of Stone · What A Shame · The Last Time · Play With Fire · We Want The Stones · Everybody Needs Somebody To Love · Pain In My Heart · Route 66 · I'm Moving On · I'm Alright · (I Can't Get No) Satisfaction · The Under Assistant West Coast Promo Man · (I Can't Get No) Satisfaction · The Spider And The Fly · Get Off Of My Cloud · I'm Free · Get Off Of My Cloud · The Singer Not The Song · As Tears Go By · Gotta Get Away · 19th Nervous Breakdown · Sad Day

Looks like the same as the 3 Volumes CD/DL Singles 1963-71 by Abkco in 2004-05 but now on Vinyl as 2 Volumes - [iorr.org]. Volume Two of the Vinyl-Singles could be 1966-71 then.

The 18 Vinyl-Discs of Volume One could be correct and would look like this:

1 - Come On · I Want To Be Loved

2 - I Wanna Be Your Man · Stoned

3 - Bye Bye Johnny · Money · You Better Move On · Poison Ivy - (same as the Decca-EP: The Rolling Stones, 10-Jan-1964)

4 - Not Fade Away · Little By Little - (UK version)

5 - Tell Me · I Just Want To Make Love To You

6 - It's All Over Now · Good Times, Bad Times

7 - If You Need Me · Empty Heart · 2120 South Michigan Avenue · Confessin' The Blues · Around And Around - (same as the Decca-EP: Five by Five, 14-Aug-1964)

8 - Time Is On My Side · Congratulations

9 - Little Red Rooster · Off The Hook

10 - Heart Of Stone · What A Shame

11 - The Last Time · Play With Fire

12 - We Want The Stones · Everybody Needs Somebody To Love · Pain In My Heart · Route 66 · I'm Moving On · I'm Alright - (same as the Decca-EP: Got Live If You Want It!, 11-Jun-1965)

13 - (I Can't Get No) Satisfaction · The Under Assistant West Coast Promo Man - (US version)

14 - (I Can't Get No) Satisfaction · The Spider And The Fly - (UK version)

15 - Get Off Of My Cloud · I'm Free - (US version)

16 - Get Off Of My Cloud · The Singer Not The Song - (UK version)

17 - As Tears Go By · Gotta Get Away - (US version)

18 - 19th Nervous Breakdown · Sad Day - (US version)

I managed to purchase a copy of MHR yday from an Indie Shop in Minnesota and they're shipping it out to me in Connecticut today. Can't wait to hold it in my hands. This is one I'm actually going to open, as I want to see the vinyl glow in the dark, and look at those pix!!!!

In other words, the 3 CD Singles boxed sets turned into 2 Vinyl boxed sets instead. Even the booklets appear to be the same, also the poster and the picture cards.

This looks freaking amazing. Looks like they're mixing DECCA and US London releases. It would be nice to see the labels.
