so Mick hated musicians who "gab" as early as 64? I thought he got this allergy while working with Mick Taylor...
Naaah, don't think so. It's just a routine look as singers do when one of the instrumentalist does his part. I think Keith is doing a great job! Compared with the studio version it appears he adds an extra beat to his riff. Maybe that's why the string broke (joke)
