Keith Richards & the X-Pensive Winos, Mavis Staples, Hozier, Warren Haynes, Melissa Etheridge, Allison Russell and more will headline the sixth annual Love Rocks NYC benefit concert at New York’s Beacon Theatre on March 10.

Great news! So we see, Keith doesn`t want to stop, to retire etc. (Love Waddy Wachtel playing!)

I’d guess that since Will Lee is the MD, he will fill the bass spot in the Winos. Don Was would be another candidate. A wild card I would dig seeing would be Phil Lesh, who has several of his “Friends” on the bill (Haynes, Poe, Campbell, Krasno), and has covered a fair amount of Stones material in his time.

Winos have been defunct for 30 yrs…no coincidence whatsoever that he’s got a rereleased solo album to promote.
