Great "Yesterday's Papers" edition.

I'm not sure what noughties observation is about? Who's laughing about war?

Many laugh about previous utterances like "I`m surprised what gets allowed".

It's great for someone in the states, or anywhere outside of the U.K. We rarely saw a Melody Maker here, didn't get Rolling Stone until '67. (And that didn't go national for a while). It was a different media landscape here in America. Rock music wasn't taken seriously. We had Tiger Beat and other teenybopper magazines. Melody Maker gives us a whole different perspective, and interest, that didn't exist in America at the time.

You bring up Rolling Stone Magazine, and I remember a time when 'it mattered'. How sad what it's become.

Back then it wasn't to the older generation(s). It's nothing now, of course. Pretty nice video though, outlining the swing in society that involves one specific thing.

Just to clarify, this was considered a double-A-Side release, i.e. no B-side! I'm not sure what qualifications make the difference, just that this is how it is listed on discography sites.
