Congratulations to FINLAND for winning 25 olympic gold medals today, by winning the Ice Hockey final 2 - 1. I watched the game, it was an impressing and powerful game, lots of defensive play, the best team won.

Watching the medal ceremony, where Finland Captain #51 Filppula was handing out each and every god medal to his team mates, and hugging each and every one, and getting his own gold medal as well, all with smiles, was a great final moment to watch of these olympics.

The games in China are now over. Norway took two more medals today, Gold in 30 km cross country women, and bronze in Alpine Skiing Mixed Team Parallel.

Well, it's back to reality now after a great Winter Olympics where Norway came top of the Medals table, and deservedly so.
They have been outstanding.
Well done to the Scots men and women Curling teams who done so well in getting Team GB Gold and Silver Medals, which were our only ones. thumbs up

So proud of our fantastic captain Eve Muirhead and the Scottish lasses for beating Japan 10-3 to win Gold in the Curling.

My wife is Japanese but graciously accepts that the better team won smileys with beer

No disgrace in the Men winning Silver in an extremely close final.

Congratulations to Norway too. It's always good to see countries with small populations punching well above their weight.....
