Actor Howard Hesseman passed away today. I don't know his full career but he was Johnny Fever on WKRP in Cincinnati back in the late 70s.
He also had a part in Spinal Tap, playing Duke Fame's manager in the hilarious hotel lobby scene.

RIP.

He was known before that as part of a hippie comedy troupe called The Committee. (David Ogden Stiers, from MASH was also in it). And he actually was a radio DJ for a while. Did a lot of character actor spots on TV shows before WKRP. Rest in Peace.

Love WKRP. Always sad to hear someone has died. R.I.P.

Still remember the Thanksgiving episode with the Turkey give away, they dropped live turkeys from a helicopter if I remember right, not relizing Turkeys cant fly.
