For me that's a perfect example on a performance that is absolutely stunning if you see it live (you would think you saw the best JJF performance ever if you'd seen this live) but doesn't translate well to a recording. The energy they got here is absolutely insane here but the intonation of Mick and the Background singers is often not on point and Keith does an amazing show with all his moves but sometimes his playing suffers from that. Live these are things that don't matter but on a recording they do.Quote

Hope we will get the full Wiltern as bonus show. They already released a few tracks on Four Flicks.
JJF was really good:

By the way, I never got the point of Ronnie using the Sitar guitar on JJF on this tour. On PIB it makes sense since it is there on the original recording but on JJF it isn't and it doesn't add anything to it. Sound rather hollow and thin. Glad he got back to playing normal guitar again in 2005.

To celebrate their 40th anniversary in 2002, the Rolling Stones embarked on a two-year world tour, performing 117 concerts in a wide variety of venues and stadiums across North America, Europe, Australia and Asia. ''Licked Live In NYC'' is dedicated to the January 18, 2003 show at Madison Square Garden in New York, where Sheryl Crow was a guest on "Honkey Tonk Women". Released incomplete at the time in the 'Four Flicks' box set, this concert has been remixed, remastered, and contains four unreleased tracks "Start Me Up", "Tumbling Dice", "Gimme Shelter" and "Sympathy For The Devil", plus three bonus tracks in Amsterdam and rehearsal footage.

Why another re-issue…. There is more of the 2003 tour! Why not Cirkus Krone 2003, was also professional filmed!
No just a cheap re-issue, making money of the same idiots who will buy this anyway…..
Among them probably me!!

Looks like I posted "fake news" earlier re: which show it's going to be. It's the January 18th show after all. A friend says he's seen the setlist which is from the 18th.
This also matches the teaser video with Keith sans jacket.
My apologies!
