So, can living people profit from putting out their image on stamps in the U.K.? Not knocking it, just curious. It could explain why Bill/Mick T/Brian are excluded. It also shows this has been in the works sometimes as Charlie is no longer in the group either. Probably contractually. I would assume group photos for merchandise from now forward will just be Ron, Keith, and Mick.

Absolutely agree. This is an appalling and totally unnecessary misrepresentation engineered by Jagger, Richards & Wood (Royal Mail says they worked closely with them on this project). I notice that they included Charlie Watts on the stamps and yet he is no longer in the band as it approaches its' 60th anniversary, so on that basis alone BJ, BW, & MT should be included. Without them IMO Jagger and Richards would not be where they are today.

Maybe some day Brian, Bill, & Mick Taylor will be included as part of a special deluxe edition with a bonus sheet of "outtakes", "demos", etc.
More money to be made................

Love the official Charlie stamp.
Had they offered it as one of the framed prints, likely would have purchased it.

As Rolling Stones Inc, they've not included past members in any official stuff for so long, doesn't bother me, and am sure there is a strong business aspect that makes sense to operate that way. Nothing personal at this point in other words is my read (perhaps started when it was though ).

Charlie obviously lands in a category of his own for this.. all under way no doubt long before his passing.
Glad that no asterisk or memorial stamp was made when it came to this.

Because only 4 of them are £1.70, the others are First Class stamps which are 85p

Not sure but probably not as there are several examples of living people appearing on UK stamps such as footballers, rugby players, soap stars, film actors, Olympic Athletes, various Dr Whos, authors, etc - I doubt the cash-strapped Post Office will be shelling out for all of them.
