60th Anniversary Wishlist:

1- New LP
2- New EP
3- New Song

My wishlist:

-All the available live recordings from the vaults to be released (esp. 1969 tour)

-New LP that would be a suitable final studio album but please, no more double albums. Approx. 10 song album would be great. Living In A Ghost Town was a good example that they still can write catchy tunes. Or just dig into their archives of what they've written in the past and record those songs in today's way.

-Wishing them well so there would be no death news in the next at least 10 years and they keep touring/playing concerts (perhaps they should narrow it down like they used to? Just the band and couple of additional musicians).

-Mick Taylor back in the band. Three quitarists would be nice. (I assume Bill's not interested to come back anymore).

That sounds less like a list than like a bargaining negotiation

The end.

Keith: "No Charlie, No Stones."

Keith: 'Talk Is Cheap' 1988

I think the title of the album was a clue.

If the Rolling Stones have more of the " Fully Finished outtakes" in their vaults they should make them available to the public. I still listen to the ones released last year regularly.

My hope, another volume of "Fully Finished Outtakes", if it's out there. The FFO "release" was my favorite Stones thing to come out of 2021.

Though my guess is that we'll get a new compilation of hits tied to the 60th (even though 'Honk' came out fairly recently) and the deluxe 'Main Offender'.

If we were to get another archive release, I suppose we might get St. Louis 1997 as it was among the things mentioned in that press release waaaaaaay back.

Three compilation in 20 years, the last one 3 years ago with an onlyone album of originals?!
It's very hilarious

1964 Radio Luxembourg acetate audiophile release, massive ABKCO box of out takes, Gomelsky film, the Curly Clayton acetate, all the Regent Sound song demo acetates, a properly researched Decca era recording sessions book similar to Mark Lewisohn's Beatle book.
Unfortunately I'm not sure that there's a big stash of Brian era footage waiting to be discovered but if there is, a blu ray or two.

If only! hot smiley

Santa Claus still around? Okay, separate live boxes for every country in Europe. Especially Sweden... Why not a gig from 1970, 1973, 1982 and 1990?

...and a triple DVD/Bluray from the Stockholm trilogy (Stadion, Globen, Cirkus) in 2003 ...

Would love some more archive releases. I'd settle for a new album, but mostly I'd like to see them do something will all the living members. Without Charlie, it'd be nice to bring in some of the others. Would love to see Mick Taylor and Bill Wyman back in some capacity. Possibly some new recordings or a live show.

getting them all onstage seems unlikely

but maybe they could all get together in the same room with a camera and just talk about the band and it's history and music

i'd like to see that

Stockholm 2003 ? I was there. And I never even bothered to listen to the bootlegs I've bought, even though the quality is excellent allready.

And 1982/1990? together with 1970/1973 in one breath?

No wonder they realease all of these nonsense live releases with people longing for things like that.

Sure Erik, I was just thinking about the fact that they have never released a live concert from Scandinavia.
It would be nice to have a live document from one one the gigs I/you/someone else went to. But it's not a big deal...
