Merry Christmas. It's not Jesus' birthday, and it was probably a highjacked Winter Solstice festival, but it does bring back good memories from childhood. It's hard not to be wistful as you get older, and people have passed from your lives. Hopefully most of us were lucky enough to tear into a pile of presents as a kid. No one in our house ever brought up the religious angle of the season. It was all about Santa. Whatever you believe, or don't, Merry Christmas.
