It's pretty old news, the plaque was revealed more than 2 years ago.
Hard to see, because of the trees in front of the house

Absolutely deserved. He did as much to augment and hone the Rolling Stones' sound from 67-75 as George Martin did for The Beatles during their career. If ever there was a sixth Stone than it would be Nicky.

Where would Sympathy For The Devil, She's A Rainbow, You Can't Always Get What You Want, 2000 Light Years From Home, Street Fighting Man, Angie, We Love You, No Expectations, Monkey Man, Sway, Loving Cup, Time Waits For No One, Waiting On A Friend, You Got The Silver and Jumping Jack Flash to name but a few. He is all over Exile and helped to define that album as probably the greatest exploration of American music ever on one single album.

He is his laying down piano to Sympathy For The Devil.

The Royal Academy of Music has a scholarship in memory of Nicky Hopkins: you can continue to contribute if you wish (you need to tell them that you want your donation to go to the Nicky Hopkins scholarship)

Nicky didn't play on YCAGWYW, he was out of town....it was Al Kooper on piano, organ, and french horn.
