Street Fighting Man (hard to remember that it's acoustic!)

I will take otherwise the same songs, but from the first group I pick up "Sitting On a Fence" - that melodic sweetie always hit me deep. "Angie" and "Street Fighting Man" have bigger than life, paradigmatic intros - the way they set the feeling of the songs so aptly is just incredible.

But yeah, there are so many great ones to choose from, like this thread has proven. Extra mention to "Sweet Black Angel" that I found hypnotic.

Isn't it more like a bridge into the verse? The part where the acoustic guitar enters is a different part than the intro (which is fully electric, of course).

Although the SFM and JJF intros are played on an acoustic guitar, the sound is more like an overdriven electric guitar, so it's not really an acoustic intro in my view.

JJF in particular. On SFM it's easier to hear that the intro is played on an acoustic.

How's nobody mentioned intro in YCAGWYW? It's absolutely great and so catchy. Must be among their most recognizable tunes.
Sister Morhine and Play With Fire would be in my list, too.

I wonder if it hasn’t been mentioned because it’s a cover, but I absolutely love the guitars in Love In Vain. Possibly my favorite Stones’ acoustic guitar recording.
