I've been talking with some of England's biggest event promoters/organizers, if you need verification, then the Formula One providers at Silverstone will be able to verify the claim.
The talk is that it is over as a Touring entity from a Corporate point of view, The Organization via the Stakeholders has ceased as a "Virtual Corporation" as Mick famously named it. No forward contracts, everyone is Free Lance as of Dec 1.
It may gear up for a final fling as "The English Say" but Ladies and Gentlemen, you saw the last U.S. Tour.

I thought I remember Mick in an interview awhile back state that each tour now was set up as a virtual corporation and when each tour wrapped up, the virtual corp. for that tour also basically ended too.

So, maybe the closing out of this segment of the No Filter tour/ virtual corp. does not necessarily mean it is over.... I am just a major fan and one who is definitely NOT in the know on these things. So, you may and probably do have much more 'inside' info. than me. I'm just trying to keep hope ... and the Rolling Stones alive!

Did they even use a corporate sponsor this time around?

When it ends, there will be no official announcement. Just talk of "was this the last tour"..."will there be a new album" as the months and years go by. Which is where we are at. Just a hunch.
