YouTube Yesterday's Papers

There's a series of short videos on YouTube under the heading Yesterday's Papers. They deal with mainly mid-60s British rock and roll. Lots of Stones material. One video is about Nico and her relationship with Brian Jones. She said he could have done songwriting, but that he was lazy. I thought it was a simple, but obvious observation. Brian didn't seem to want to stick with anything and master it. He was so uniquely talented that he could pick up an instrument and get something cool out of it. But he couldn't stay with the guitar to get better with it and evolve his playing. We always talk about his genius, and his downfall, but never his laziness. The others worked hard to improve, while he was hardly working.

Seriously, there's a lot of good content in those series of videos.

Agreed. I've asked here before about this YT person.

They are always reading from a script that sounds like extracts from a book.

Who is it?!?!?

I Googled it and all I got was my own entry above on IORR!
