Thank you so much for the support of The Nellcote Chronicles! I am overwhelmed. Books are sent out daily and there are lots of praises of the IORR by the Norwegian journalists I talk to, who go here for the latest tour updates!

Just a heads up: EU residents will soon be able to purchase the book directly from «La Galerie de L´Instant» in Paris.
Dominique Tarlé´s wonderful exhibit «La Villa» will open there on December 9th, with the Chronicle book for sale, and I hope to see some of you there that weekend!

It has been brought to my attention that a French customer has been given a 6 euro surcharge in customs taxes for the Nellcote book.
I have highlighted this on the site, but please note that purchasing from my site includes shipping and handling, but that your country may charge import duties, taxes and fees.

Everything that has been said before is not enough until you get the thing in hands !

The book is really nice and the printing quality excellent.

Cooheid - yes the current owner will receive a copy. IORR members is served first, of course. The owner, an academic and self-made man turned superrich in the 1990s, is not necessarily your average rock superfan so one needs to play the cards right

Wow! Thank you for the praise. The mails and messages I receive really mean a lot.
Because some you loving creatures are completely crazy and purchase (much more) than one book, the order number and copy number are a bit off now.
The book has reached the half-way mark, moving quickly towards 600 this week. Parcels are on their way to at least five continents.
If only the international couriers could move as fast as you IORRs

I received the fantastic book ‘The Curious Chronicles of Villa Nellcote’ by Geir Hørnes. I think only superlatives can describe this book, and to be honest: I am jealous. Many of us will know the feeling of ‘I should write a book about this’, or ‘I should collect all information on a nice internet page’, being it about the vinyl bootleg collection one has collected, items once belonging to the Stones one has gathered, or know-how on guitars and amps the Stones have used over the years…only to wake up the next day and forget all about it. But Geir has done it, and really has excelled in all aspects creating this book: this is a must have book for anyone interested in the Stones best period and their best record, for anyone interested in some history of aristocracy in Europe, of large villa’s in exotic places. The attention to detail is mind boggling.

I want to congratulate Geir with this achievement, and truly recommend to buy this book.

The thing is, you won't feel that till it's in your hands. In every way it's beautiful book.

When that is said, Geir is my mate and I'm as biased as it gets. But it is indeed a lovely book
