I'm watching the Las Vegas show now. What I've noticed about Keith this tour is the almost total absence of any posing or playing to the audience. At least not nearly as much as he had been in the past. For a significant amount of time he's focused on Ron, Darryl, and Steve, or just on the guitar.

I thought up until the show where he messed up Sad Sad Sad in Tampa, was it show number 9 or something ? He was really moving well with lots of energy and some to spare, now we see a different Keith in the last three shows, a completely different Aura about him, he did nail it last night but the energy was missing, what a shame.

Keith's playing IS better, MUCH better.
I attribute a lot of it to Steve Jordan.
While making Talk Is Cheap, and Main Offender, Keith talked about how his band kicked his behind and improved his work ethic.
The quicker tempos are having a good effect on the performances.
No more painfully slow versions of songs.
It's not a criticism of Charlie's playing, just that Steve has amped things up a bit and the band has responded to it, well.

Well, that's exactly what it is.
By the way, it is always Keith who wants the tempo to be slower, Mick the faster.

Reading your developing opinion of Keith reminds me of watching the stock market. Just be glad you didn't see him in the fall of 2017.

Just unbelievable, you are loosing the plot, so because Charlie was fantastic and unique we can't give credit to Steve and Keith for the incredible job they are doing to hold this thing together without you coming out with silly comments like Keith wants tempos slower, Mick is faster.
Well the reason the tempos are faster is down to Keith and Steve not Mick.
I don't know if you have noticed but Mick sings and Keith and the band takes care of the music, Mick moves and dances to Keith's guitar for best part of the show, and Micks looking great because Keith, Ronnie, Steve and the rest of the band are providing a solid up tempo musical backdrop.

Haha. That's funny. You don't know a shit about the Stones dynamics. For a a self-decralw Stones fan and expert, that kind of ignorance is, well, something..

Haha, yes didn't Keith allegedly disgrace himself , I thought he was in great form by Paris, an all time low for me was when i saw him in 2007, i really thought his days were numbered in 07' but the great man and his wife pulled through.

Well yes but i didn't intend to bring that part of it up. These things are interconnected I suppose. I was there and it was clear from the beginning that he forgot his aura at home. The whole band seemed stripped bare of any of their mojo. It was excrutiating for me

If you had ever been to Stones rehearsals you would not state such nonsense that's just wishful thinking on your part.

Maybe it's time (again) for a new user profile? Just a thought.
