It's kind of a collage made from different pieces of real photos put into one pic. I saw how it was made in in a documentary. It wasn't particulary about The Stones but how architects and designers work nowadays with modern computer technology to plan buildings, stages etc. In an excerpt they showed how the people in Marc Fishers office designed different stage designs for different artists, among them the stage for the current Stones tour.

I'm sorry, but I'm afraid that's complete rubbish!
This is real. See how well these stages are thought over? The grey stage here looks a bit painted indeed and the fireworks look unreal but this is exactly the effect you getwhen you send plain white fireworks in the air and you dim all the stagelights: contra-light (is this English? You know what I mean). To the illuminated background, the stage looks all dark, like a picture you make of someone into the sunlight: only contours. Here you get the scary stage skeleton, but all planned out.
The effect would have been completely different if the stage lights were still going on in multi-colour and there were multicoloured fireworks.
