got the detroit show with the complete chess recordings a couple years ago
didn't realize it had a separate release
but i really can't recommend the complete chess recordings enough
there are live recordings in each of the three volumes
the first one is just 2 songs from the mid 50's
vol 2 has the detroit show
and vol 3 has the complete coventry show from 72 where the live versions of reelin' and rockin' and my ding a ling came from
that's from the film hail hail rock n' roll
at least it didn't end with chuck punching keith again
The bit of Chuck telling Keith not to touch his amp, that's how Chuck Berry sounds, Keith saying it's for the recording.
I can't find anything at the moment but I recall something along the line of there was some trickery that happened just before the show that Keith had arranged for Chuck's amp to be bypassed in regard to the recording and connected to another amp somewhere else.
I was wondering if Chuck and Keith were just acting or deadly serious. Very entertaining moment.

Finally picked it up w/ a bonus! Didn't realize there was another live one released a couple years ago, Oh Yeah! Live in Detroit, recordings from '63 it seems. Happy Xmas to me!
