it almost looks like the people that push to get to the very front of the pit wouldn't really be able to see anything - i guess the "sweet spot" would be about halfway back in the pit -

when i first saw our boys in 1978 the whole place was general admission which was a little scary because I was a little kid but we got pretty close- by the time they came back in 1989 even after camping out to get tickets we got rafter seats which was a complete drag-
