it's somehow amazing how quickly tickets that were a available at a regular price a few moments ago turn up as Platinum tickets for at least quadrupled prices. Ticketmaster should introduce a policy that tickets cannot be resold within a certain time period (at least a couple of weeks)
Platinum are not resale tickets. These are "premium" tickets but the only thing about them that's premium is the price.
My tickets are electronic. I believe you could receive hard tickets by mail for an additional fee.
The Seminole Hard Rock is an hour from South Beach, 49 minutes from Miami. Florida is a busted mess, but has some of the most beautiful beaches in the country. I'd hardly call an inland casino "the jewel of Florida" but if you do, cheers
My gut instinct wants to side with you but I don't understand what you think the alternative should be. If the tickets sell out then technically they were *under* priced. And how exactly do you create a two tier system where "true fans" have their own buying channel. There will always be arbitrage/rent-seeking

I managed to get ONE third tier seat at a face value of $650 all in. Now I've either got to scrounge another single or sell the one I have. GRRRR!

There are several restaurants including the Bae Korean Grill which is one of the best restaurants and bars I’ve ever been in. They even have a live DJ in the restaurant. Not to be missed. This will be THE concert event of the year. They also have an amazing discotech upstairs. The entire facility is spectacular. This place will be packed with some of the most beautiful women you’ve ever seen. My only complaint is they don’t have “live” craps or roulette. For anyone going, Enjoy.

Dang, cheapest seat going now on Ticketmaster is $1,303. Sure wish I could have gotten some $500 seats but they seem to have been gone within 10 minutes of the sale.

Platinum are not resale tickets. These are "premium" tickets but the only thing about them that's premium is the price.

RBK--if you want to sell your single, let me know and I will buy it. You can always get another single on Stubhub. I am just not willing to pay those prices. With fees, the get in price now for a single on stubhub is around $900. Much higher on ticketmaster as all they have left are Platinum which are ridiculously priced. Thanks.

The prices seemed to bounce around the room. And while it's been clear for some time that they have completely abandoned any boundaries for what they are charging people, it's still worth pointing out from time to time what an obscene indecency that entails.

I think we all new this would be a tough ticket to get at any price. About 30 minutes before they went on sale via Ticketmaster, I looked at Stubhub, like many others, and saw several tickets already posted. I don't mind paying the money for this trip/concert but i would rather put this money toward Europe next year for a show or two. Good luck to everyone.

I've seen the greatest rock and roll band ever, playing the greatest shows, 15 times over the last 46 years. I've sat/danced in every area of a venue. Only once did I pay more than $100 to get in. Many times even less. I'm decidedly middle class and am at peace with their compensation demands. Scalpers are gonna scalp. Now, if someone can get me a ticket to Hollywood for under $500, lets talk.
