In Chuck's recent interview, in referring to the Covid situation, he said they are being careful so they can make it to Austin or something similar to that, which would imply that this new show is indeed new and recently added. I doubt Chuck is totally out of the loop. Also, with it being "only" 7,000 seats, I agree that something is up, like a live CD or DVD being filmed.

I don't necessarily think anything special is "up". The Hard Rock casino likes to secure top tier artists and pays a fortune for the bragging rights. Several big names have played this theater, who normally play much larger venues, like Billy Joel, Eric Clapton, Guns N Roses, Metallica, etc. (The Who is playing here next year.)

Having the Stones, is just another big feather in the Hard Rock's cap.

I just saw Clapton at this Hard Rock recently. It was my first time to this venue since they re-did it. I had been plenty of times before the Guitar opened up. I tried to go see GNR and on a Sunday night and could not find a reasonable ticket. I was not willing to cough up $3-400 for them. I paid $80 for Slowhand. I am much more a fan of his music. This will be a tough ticket for sure. The casino will have its share of tickets for their high rollers so common tickets will be a challenge. I had heard they spared no expense but I found the room ...well not as spectacular as I anticipated. It has very high ceilings with two levels of balconies. The sound was find ...even great ...but it was nothing glamorous or classy like a Beacon Theater in NY or the Saenger Theater in New Orleans. I guess it is what it is...a theater in a casino. It didn't feel intimate in my opinion ...or not as intimate as it could have. It will feel intimate compared compared to a stadium. I am glad the Stones are doing this...there seems something so un-Rock N Roll about only stadium shows. Again, thankful they are playing live these days (as I recall long stretches when they were not!) and seemingly enjoying their golden years.

I think they were probably looking round for a last gig before Mick and Ronnie heading back home to England.

A DVD in a smaller place than a stadium, would be ideal to release before Christmas.

You know you're gonna get a great DVD of the gig, given the go ahead by The Rolling Stones.

The Tour is going great, and still many more gigs to look forward to on IORR, in the early hours of the morning here in London Town , or later on the next day.

Not the first time they played a casino.

I just can't believe they will end the last two US tours in Miami. I guess someone is coughing up the biggest payout.

Hopefully the rumors of NYC will pay off. New York or Chicago.

It would be really wonderful if they added a few small shows after Thanksgiving.

Not as long as they can get suckers to pay $500 to sit up close and look at almost 80-year-old men play their greatest hits. I have friends who are going tonight in L.A. It's a bucket list item for all three of them. There are some hard core fans who have to see them infinitum. But I think a lot of the hard core left the building many tours ago.
