Huge difference of this interview and the stern interview, mick seems much more relaxed here, this guy was much better than stern at asking questions as well, but heck maybe I'll get neighbors in pitt tomorrow,I'd love too hear black limo live, prob not played since '95 maybe?

Very enjoyable interview. I guess it is the first time he's spoken at length about Charlie's passing.

This is a great interview imo.
Love how real Mick gets in talking about Charlie and the band carrying on.

As for the first couple shows he called them "cathartic".
I think as I said after the show, that's rings true for the band and the fans as well.

Talked about inserting more Tattoo You songs coming up.. would love to hear Waiting On A Friend or Worried About You..

You can almost bank on the new album being ten tracks max.

Wow I didn't know Charlie was well enough to play in a studio just not too long before his passing. I respect the privacy around his health but sometimes I find myself starting to really wonder what happened there. So sad.

Very nice. Mick mentions having done two shows on the tour.

He seems to know the interviewer quite well, thus his comfort.

Wow, an interview with a bit of substance and new information.

Less fawning = less yawning.

Yeah, a nice interview indeed. A good vibe. Mick doesn't want to leave any mystery for bonus tracks any longer; he is pretty specific about recent additions.

And "Neighbours" will make the next concert. As will some other TY tracks in future shows.

And oh man, one can see his face expression changing when he starts to think and talk about Charlie.

One of the best ever interviews with Mick. Essential listening.

I’d like to know if he has any live shows in his personal collection that have never been officially released that would be of interest to the fans.Like a complete video of a 1972-1975 show

Great interview.
As Doxa mentions, very clear signs of distress and sadness in his visual expressive movements and voice when he talks about Charlie and about the decision to do the tour.
I was also struck by how much, if his account is right, all this work on their output falls on his shoulders - he is combing the archives, he is writing the new lyrics etc. He really is the one doing all the heavy lifting. Even interview wise - have any of the others given solo interviews/mocked up photos in local hangouts to drum up publicity?

Yes, top drawer.

Mick is human. Almost cuddly.

Just discovered, inadvertently, this new Out-takes release. Pretty Wow.

Giving it Up. Hope they do. Steel Wheels special edition.

Lot of positivity at present amid all the sadness.

A kind of rebirth.

Mick's always done the heavy lifting, if I recall correctly, as far as solo interviews and photos. Once in a while Keith will do an interview too. Mick = the spokesperson.

I suspect Endo April, Early May - like Black and Blue / Euro '76.

Assuming some shows already on the pipeline.

Regarding this tour and season ........

OCTOBER

I was shown autumn leaves falling from a tree and then a tree stripped bare. I heard the words:

Be not concerned, the life force is within and from that life force the new shall spring forth.'
Know that the old must die so that the new can be born.'

Lovely interview. It was nice to hear him mention being in the studio with Charlie only recently. Hopefully some of his drumming will be heard on their next album.

I wonder if, at any point, they had considered doing a complete Tattoo You set, like they did with Sticky Fingers. I think that was a hit, and Tattoo You would have been too.

Really enjoyed that interview, tend to usually find Mick to reserved and guarded but love the way he is aging and is comfortable in his skin in that interview..

Hope he doesn't have surgery, hate it when people have their eyelids done, it just doesn't look like them anymore when they do that.
