It’s amazing how good the band sounds. On the Paint it Black from St Louis,Mick’s vocals are great. No barking or off key screaming. That is a great version of Paint it Black by the band

These videos are something else, I think the video quality is the best I've ever seen from a "non-pro" on YouTube, I wonder what camera he uses. The sound isn't the best but while his placement to the side was great for video it's not the best for audio capture.

Before Charlotte thread drops off the page I thought I'd post all the links to the good quality Jim Power's videos in order. There are still some missing numbers - I really want to hear and see HTW but it's a good selection.

Yes but he's got me worried now, something's not right with his playing, solos are completely off, he seems distracted to me.

kinda sensed that too in Charlotte. He’s playing very good, it’s got something very subtle that’s missing though. Only 3 shows in, he’ll likely go for it

I wasn't at either but from the vids I noticed too that, damn, the Charlotte pits are crowded. So, same question, anybody know why the difference?

Might it have been related to St. Louis having, supposedly, a mask mandate, and Charlotte not? Might some people have not attended in St. Louis thinking they'd be required to mask? Which, of course, they actually weren't, there was no enforcement... bv reports only about 5% complied. (Versus 1 to 2% in Charlotte, again per bv.)

I'm hoping for more of a "St Louis pit" a week from tonight in Nashville.

But expecting more of a "Charlotte pit."

Whichever it is, I'm sixty fuggin six and going to be, like bv, one of the rare mask nerds.

It might have been that St. Louis was a dome, and some people didn’t want to be inside because of COVID, and Charlotte was outdoors.

Or it could have been the St. Louis economy is terrible, and the Charlotte area is doing better.

Charlotte stadium was filled to a much higher percentage than STL. I’m guessing that a quarter of the seats and pit were not filled at STL. Inside closed dome scared many into not using tickets bought before the COVID delta run up. I did not see empty seats throughout the stadium in Charlotte. Pit was crowded like Chicago 2019-full but you could find your own space.

did anyone else notice mick changed a lyric in ghost town to "ventilator blues streaming on my phone" or is that just my imagination

as to ronnie he seems to be playing fine but he just seems to have less energy then in 2019 i noticed him sitting down and resting between numbers too
it's sort of sad and funny the old cliche used to be ronnies been carrying keith but on some of these numbers it's like keiths carrying ronnie and it doesn't end there keith seems to also be as or more phisycal on stage as ronnie now
i bet the cancer has taken more out him then he lets on and he needs more time to recover more of his strength i'm sure he'll be back to normal by next summer for europe though

Rambler .... WOW !

I just can't believe how good they are. Did not expect this. The upgraded tempo's and level of playing are just a dream. Was doubting to see them in 2022 Europe, but now I know for sure I will try to do as much shows as i can.

I think some songs works well with Steve while others don't.

Let's Spend The Night Together from Charlotte is probably the best version I've heard since 1998. But Start Me up from the last two shows are maybe the worst versions ever.

The only difference I've noticed in Ronnie is that he moves less, but that's understandable with what he's been through. While he with the guitar did not see substantial differences, indeed the fact that he moves less on stage, makes his solos more precise.
Keith looks in great shape and is playing well, but all the songs seem to be Ronnie and not Keith, Keith does the opening of a lot of songs, some solos, but who plays the piece from start to finish is Ronnie.
