So cool they are playing "Living In A Ghost Town". I hope this turned out to Mick's satisfaction, so that it will be played in other venues. This tune must be difficult to pull off live. Perhaps they used some taped effects?

No Brown Sugar… I really hope they haven’t bowed to outside pressure on song lyrics over this. Otherwise why isn’t there?

No comments on Mr Jordani drumming. Is that taboo?

Is BS or HTW the more expected warhorse?

TAC makes sense since it's slated to be the next "single" and yes the lyrics are indeed hard to decipher as we found for 20+ years of listening to the "Break Away" outtake ;-)

Thanks for the reports, getting ready for the next'un!

This is the setlist, SFM wasn't played, so 14 songs in total:

What's the last time they played a (yet) unreleased song? Off the top of my head I have to go back to the A Bigger Bang tour where they played ABB songs before the album was released on September 5, 2005. The tour started in August.

”What can a poor boy except to sing for a rock’n’roll band”

A pity they didn’t play SFM.

Another trivia question:

When was the last time they didn't play Honky Tonk Women OR Brown Sugar?

There are several shows were only one of them was played, but I guess you'd have to go back quite to bit to find a show where neither one was played.

EDIT: I think I found the answer...see here: [iorr.org]

But the next question, obviously, is: when was the SECOND to last time neither HTW or BS were played? winking smiley

OK. We know WHAT they played.

HOW did they play? Were they on? Rusty? How did Steve J go? Was there any reference to Charlie at all?

I’d hope 19th Nervous Breakdown was performed like the studio track; not like the slowed-down ‘05 version, which didn’t quite work, in my opinion. If it were like the former, it’d be the first true-to-the-original rendition since the Double Door in ‘97, I think.

Sounds like Steve Jordan uses his typical high pitched snare .... and is hitting it really hard..... winos style.
