Stones in San Fran Part2

Great to see so many people coming to the Bay to see the Stones.

Weather should be great(70F/20C) for both days. Night time gets cool but the Stones will heat things up. This is a great city that welcomes all and rejects negativity(Altamont was 40 miles out of town and 36 years ago!)

There is a great Stones Cover band that will play in Berkley(accross the Bay) on Saturday. These guys really rock and here is the link on their website with the location of the gig:

I can't wait to go to the Hi Dive and rock with Bjonulf and the rest of the IORR Stones fans from all over the Bay and the World.

Hopefully the Stones will reward us with a few gems.

"Thank you for your wine CALIFORNIA"

Better than last time. I arrived just before they closed the airport and they had the worst storms in 30 years, the Bay Bridge lights went out and 250,000 houses without electricity. The Stones crew did a great job and got the stage ready despite the weather.

It was amazing that it stopped raining just before the Stones came on. I do wish they wouldn't play out door gigs here at the beginning of the rainy season though! All well, Rock and Roll!

I heard a big storm named Metallica will be blowing through San Fran that weekend too

Ahem, about that storm. The Stones should hit the stage around 9:15. So if you leave the Hi Dive at about 9:00 that should give you plenty of time.

The itinerary I saw said Everclear 6:00, Metallica 7:15, Stones 8:45 for whatever it's worth.

Check encoretickets.com. I wonder if they can get a ticket to you in one day?
