i live in Germany and want to see the Stones in USA.

Have anybody an idea which way to come to USA is practical?

There are some countries that you can spend 14 days in before entering the USA as a European citizen.Mexico has been a very popular destination for this purpose.
The land border between Mexico and the USA remains heavily restricted at present but taking a flight from Mexico to the USA is no problem and you will be able to enter the USA.

If you are flying from Germany to Mexico City with Lufthansa I believe they operate the 747 jumbo jet on that route which is a rare ride these days as many have been retired early due to the pandemic.

Last month I spent a couple of weeks in Mexico City I had a great time and would highly recommend visiting.

I think the Mexico quarantine is the only viable option right now.
Was hopeful that somehow Canada would end up being an option for those abroad to enter through. Not up on their policies for visitors from other countries, am aware US residents can now visit, but until we open up our borders more, which will hopefully happen before show time, that option doesn't look good.

Considering Canada also borders the states, is it possible someone could fly into Canada and then enter the U-S from there? I have no idea if this is possible, Canada's quarantine set up if any, but it struck me as a possible alternative to Mexico.

I don't think Canada"s open to European tourists just yet.

Canadian borders only open to fully vacced Americans who don't have to quarantine for 14 days. At this point, the borders will be opening up in September to fully vaccinated tourists from other countries, but who knows, things can change with covid numbers rising.

I've heard that the quarantine rules in the states are rarely enforced. Don't know for sure but I'd do what BV is doing; go to Mejico, enjoy 2 weeks, then go to states.

i read, that no boat goes from Bahamas to USA.

Canada ist also not open. I think only Mexico City (14 Days in one city is to much) or Yucatan is possible.

Another option is flying to Cancun also from Frankfurt. Not a B747, but an A340

Only the Schengen areas are banned, so countries like Croatia are an option, there's a direct fight from a city in Croatia to NYC operated by Delta.

Sounds like a good idea, however you'd have to spend 14 days there (or another non-Schengen country) before boarding the plane to the U.S. ...

Just noticed that the map I posted is outdated as the UK is no longer in the EU :-(

But UK is also banned.

Abu Dhabi, Dubai is ok.
Then a long fly to USA.

I think also Mexico is better.

Hendrik and myself chose the Bahamas route... it's 14 clear days here just like Mexico, i.e. Day one is the day after you arrive and you can leave on day 15.

We have 14 days to discuss matrix numbers and other assorted collecting topics!

You are rejected at the airport if you try to board a plane with less than 14 complete days outside Europe, not counting travel days. Also, you need a brand new negative PCR test at departure to USA. There is nothing like "just go to USA" these days.

I always forget the 21st century iteration of the Stones have the most bourgeois fans.

As a US citizen, I was able to board plane and enter the US from South Africa last month with the easier antigen test. PCR test not required for me but maybe it is for non-citizens.

If you live in USA then you may re-enter USA after a holiday or a business travel easily. You simply need a viral test which cost $25 or so and if it is negative you are good to return home. If you do NOT live in USA however, then there is a completely different ballgame of entering USA. Same with most other countries. Plenty of rules. hard work to figure out.
