I was trying to see if there was a post on this, but couldn't.

How do you add a picture and signature to the postings here, so that it shows up every time, like Rockman and Deltics and STG?

Go to the front page, then select My Control Center on top of the thread list, then Edit Signature.

I once had a sig and it got deleted. Only cool cats get a signature.

OK what the heck am I doing wrong? I go into edit my signature and what I typed is showing there, but the pic is not. And neither show in my signature

Signature
You may have a signature connected to your user profile. Please use a small and non-dominating signature. Graphics are accepted if they are small i.e. smaller than what you write, not dominating. No animations accepted, and please no offending graphics. The signature should not contain any messages or campaigns. It is basically there to show your name or other similar information about yourself.

More details:
I am not big fan of extended signatures. They should be like they are expected to be, your name, or something small and short that is defining you. They should NOT be a list of your shows, your collection, or a statement. Signatures show up in each and every post automatically, also all your old posts. If they are not your name, or something similar, then they will confuse the reader. I have deleted a lot of signatures, large images, statements, lists of shows, links to other places and so on. A few long time IORR members do have a history of an old signature, they are sort of Grandfathered, simply preserved because they have been there for ages, like The Rollinmg Stones. I don't want IORR signatures to turn out like Christmas tree ornaments, or a Times Square or Picadilly Circus flashing display, that is for other places. Please keep it simple, save some bandwidth, may be you even save a bit of the planet with a small and nice signature, no need to render a dinosaur size image in every post. Thank you!

For years now, I've tried to edit/delete my signature. I always get this message:

An error occurred in the application.
The error was logged to the Phorum event log.

I tried, but it just ain't taking. Wanted to add something for Charlie.
