Sad, sad day. Knowing this was going to come at some point doesnt make it any easier. It was a pleasure to meet him a few times - a really lovely, unassuming man.

Thinking of Shirley, Serafina and Charlotte as well as the rest of the Stones and everyone whose lives Charlie touched over the years.

RIP from Serbia. Thankfully I got to see him in 2007, when the Stones played here.

I am totally in shock. Rest in peace our beloved, Charlie.

He was the greatest drummer ever. He has been making the rhythm for the Stones during 58 years.
I attended 47 gigs of the Rolling Stones and I met Charlie several times at Ronnie Scott’s, Duc des Lombards…
Charlie is really really missing. The Stones are no longer the Stones without Charlie.

I say the band says...Charlie wanted us to roll on, so we will.
Their hearts will be so heavy on stage, if they proceed.

I would always get emotional when Charlie was introduced during shows, now I'm just numb. We were so blessed......

I hope his passing was an easy one. One of the greatest joys of my life were the times I'd dance my way through a Stones concert.
