RIP Charlie, you brought a lot of happiness to so many people in your lifetime.
Sympathy to the Watts family during this time.

Came to IORR after a long time upon hearing the news to express my condolences and sadness.

Charlie was the backbone to the soundtrack of my life. Thanks for all the kicks and sticks, for all the snares and hi-hats. We danced, lived, and loved with the rhythm you gave us. Rest in peace!

Damn! Thanks for all the great music you were such a part of. My condolences to your family and the band. RIP, Mister Watts.

This is the end of The Rolling Stones and this has to be the end of The Rolling Stones.

"A full obituary will appear shortly." It is not what anyone expected. Really bad news. Hopefully Keith, Mick and Ronnie can deal with it okay. I am grateful to have been in his presence.

Feeling gutted and devastated. I'm also deeply gratefull for nearly sixty years of fantastic music. Rest in peace Charlie.

R.I.P Charlie.

This is tough. All the great ones are leaving us. I listened to the Stones since I was only 2 honestly. I'm thinking back of the memories of every new album and the tour promotions the music videos on MTV etc. Charlie will live on through the music and the fans. Time to play The Stones as loud as possible and send it up to Charlie. Let him know we will miss him.

I never met him and didn’t know him but by christ this loss hurts. Not ashamed to say a few tears have been shed. Thank you Mr Watts.

...Mick Taylor as a guitar player.
...Bill Wyman as a good friend.
...his love for jazz.
...his clothes and style.
...his role in the band.
...his hate for touring.
...his friend Ginger Baker.
...interviews.
...technology and the internet.
...his drums.
...Mick and Keith.

And that's why I love him! The silent Stone but so straight forward. We will all miss him! :-(
