Thanks.. sitting on a GA and a LD, but thought I'd ask.
If LD isn't nosebleed, likely just give GA to a fan outside.

If I hear of someone in need, I will let them know.
Posting them in the SL thread or All Sold Out may attract someone deciding last minute smileys with beer

Garth Brooks Focusing on Small Venues Over Stadiums Because 'Dive Bars Are Vaccinated'

By Jessica Nicholson
9/22/2021

Garth Brooks is focusing on playing smaller club venues for the remainder of the year, rather than his typical stadium stops, in an effort to keep performances safe for fans during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

During an episode of Inside Studio G earlier this week, Brooks told viewers, "Stadiums are officially out for this year," adding that he and his team are looking at adding performances at dive bars, because they feel the smaller venues offer a safer health environment as the COVID-19 pandemic continues -- or, as Brooks put it, "dive bars are vaccinated."

Brooks said he feels it will be easier to monitor entry protocols (including requiring attendees to show proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test within 72 hours of the show).

In 2019, the two-time Grammy winner launched his stadium tour, though like other tours, it was halted last year by the surge of the COVID-19 pandemic. This summer, Brooks returned to those stadium tour stops, including shows in Las Vegas, as well as Lincoln, Neb., and Kansas City, Mo. He was set to perform at Nashville's Nissan Stadium, though the gig was ultimately called off due to inclement weather. In August, Brooks announced the cancellation of five more stadium shows, including those that had been set for Sept. 18 in Cincinnati, Sept. 25 in Charlotte, N.C., Oct. 2 in Baltimore and Oct. 9 in Foxborough, Mass. (the Nashville date has also not been rescheduled).

At that time, Brooks issued a statement, saying, "In July, I sincerely thought the pandemic was falling behind us. Now, watching this new wave, I realize we are still in the fight and I must do my part...So, it is with a heavy heart we announce the decision to cancel all five shows but with a hopeful heart, we will reschedule and start over when this wave seems to be behind us.”

Brooks is slated to perform one of his dive bar shows at Oklahoma City's Diamond Ballroom on Oct. 11. Tickets for the show can only be won through local radio station 93.3 Jake FM. All attendees are required to show proof of vaccination, or proof of a negative COVID-19 test within 72 hours of the event.

Brooks noted that plans are in the works for more dive bar stops. "We're for sure going to do one in November and December and hopefully there will be one in between, but the dive bar tour has officially begun."

Of all the opening acts I've seen, I like her the most. Saw her open for Aerosmith in 2010, thought I would know a couple of her tunes, I knew all of them. Great in concert, the Runaways movie really gave her a career boost. Probably not an act I would want to see for 2 hours, but for an hour as an opener, she's great.

I have seen Bonnie many times and she is one of my favorites. She played with the Stones during Let it Bleed in San Jose. I met her once at the Mill Valley Film Festival. She is definitely not a fan of people recording shows.

The border of Norway has been closed for all non-EU visitors for a long long time. No way to get in. Today the 84 years old jazz legend Ron Carter got no exception from the rules, as he was sent right to a quarantine hotel, and his show tonight at the venue Cosmopolite has been canceled.

MINISTRY. At least we get the Melvins but my birthday weekend was going to be Ministry one night and Adam Ant. I was already bummed when KMFDM was replaced by Helmet for 2021 (who I also dig but didn't fit)

Out of an abundance of caution for the health and safety of the band, fans and venue staff, Ministry’s upcoming tour – scheduled to kick off in October – has been moved to March and April 2022. (the) Melvins and Corrosion Of Conformity will now appear on all show dates as the tour’s special guests. Each show date will celebrate 30 years of Ministry’s landmark album The Mind Is A Terrible Thing To Taste as well as debut new songs from the forthcoming 15th studio album Moral Hygiene, out October 1 via Nuclear Blast Records. Tickets are on sale now with the exception of the St Paul, Montclair and
Huntington dates that will go on sale at 10 am local time on Friday, October 1.
Due to scheduling changes, some of the original show dates have regrettably
been canceled as some venues are not available for this updated time period; as
well, some new show dates have been added. All tickets will be transferred to the
new dates. More show dates will be added to this tour and announced soon. The full rundown of updated tour dates are as follows:

3/06 Baltimore, MD - Baltimore Soundstage
3/08 Huntington, NY - The Paramount
3/09 Philadelphia, PA - Franklin Music Hall
3/12 Montclair, NJ - Wellmont Theater
3/13 Portland, ME - State Theater
3/15 Boston, MA - House of Blues
3/16 Buffalo, NY - Buffalo Riverworks
3/22 Atlanta, GA - Tabernacle
3/23 Orlando, FL - Hard Rock Live
3/26 Dallas, TX - Amplified Live
3/28 San Antonio, TX - Aztec Theater
3/29 Houston, TX - House of Blues
3/31 Chicago, IL - Riviera
4/01 Cleveland, OH - The Agora
4/03 Detroit, MI - Royal Oak Music Hall
4/05 St Paul, MN - Palace*
4/09 Albuquerque, NM - Sunshine Theater
4/10 Denver, CO - Mission Ballroom*
4/12 Phoenix, AZ - The Van Buren
4/13 Anaheim, CA - House of Blues
4/14 San Diego, CA - House of Blues
4/16 San Francisco, CA - Warfield
4/18 Seattle, WA - Showbox SoDo
*Moved to larger venues due to popular demand

Dead and Company Cancel Florida shows

Dead & Company will no longer perform on October 6th and 7th in Florida.

Reports of the cancellation emerged earlier today when Ticketmaster listed the ensemble’s concerts on October 6th in West Palm Beach and 7th in Tampa as canceled, and the shows disappeared from Dead & Company’s website.

According to a statement from a Dead & Company spokesperson, “Due to routing and production logistics, Dead & Company is canceling both of their sold-out Florida concerts – October 6th in West Palm Beach, Florida at the iTHINK Financial Amphitheatre and October 7th in Tampa, Florida at the MIDFLORIDA Credit Union Amphitheatre. Refunds will be available. … Dead & Company is looking forward to performing in West Palm Beach and Tampa in the future.”

The band’s 2021 tour is set to resume on October 11th in Charlotte, North Carolina at the PNC Music Pavilion and runs through October 31st with a three-night sold-out stand at the Hollywood Bowl.”

The post-Jerry Garcia amalgamation of Grateful Dead members plus John Mayer, Jeff Chimenti, and Oteil Burbridge has not yet made a public statement regarding the cancellation.

Dead & Company has maintained a notably stringent COVID safety policy throughout the year, requiring testing/vaccination proof for all attendees and maintaining a vaccinated-only GA pit. Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is on the other end of the spectrum, banning mask mandates in schools and threatening to fine Florida cities and counties that require vaccinations for employees. That difference in approach with regard to COVID-19, however, was not presented as a reason for the cancellation of the Florida Dead & Company shows.

Zac Brown is scheduled to open for the Stones in Atlanta...not until November, but still seems a bit too close for comfort...

And wondering whats up with Dead and Company as posted by daspy above?
If the reason to cancel was because of the Florida Gov's. backwards stance on various issues, the band should let it be known.

Given that those in the pit are required to be vaccinated and vaccine mandates are verboten in Florida, until someone says otherwise it is very plausible this is Covid related. Until the say officially what the story is, we can only speculate.

Steely Dan have announced that they will postpone their upcoming shows in Miami, Orlando, St Petersburg, Jacksonville, North Charleston, Charlotte, and Richmond. The postponement comes out of an abundance of caution despite COVID-19 health and safety precautions in place.
