So many questions...

Will it still be called No Filter?
Will it be the same stage?
Will they continue with the tribute/farewell for Charlie?
Will they drop Ghost Town?
Will they bring back Brown Sugar?
Will they ever play 20 (or more) songs again?
Will they play a shortened/abbreviated standard setlist ala Hard Rock, Fl '21?
Will they peak mid-tour, and then gradually slow down as the tour winds down?

This is my guesses and more questions:

Will it still be called No Filter? No
Will it be the same stage? Yes
Will they continue with the tribute/farewell for Charlie? Yes
Will they drop Ghost Town? In rotation with another new song
Will they bring back Brown Sugar? No
Will they ever play 20 (or more) songs again? No
Will they play a shortened/abbreviated standard setlist ala Hard Rock, Fl '21? No 19-20 track setlist
Will they peak mid-tour, and then gradually slow down as the tour winds down? No, I think they'll be solid straight through.

More questions:
Will Taylor or Wyman join them in any capacity whatsoever?
Will there be special guests outside of Stones alumni?
Will they add any new songs as regulars (like they did with 19th Century Nervous breakdown)? I'm hoping CYHMK becomes a regular
Will they shake things up further with the setlist for the sake of the 60th?

I think a new stage would pretty much guarantee they intend to play into 2023 and possibly beyond. Bob Dylan claims his tour continues through 2024. Maybe they want to outlast Robert Zimmerman?

thumbs up

These are my guesses to your questions, and just two more questions (for now):

Will Taylor or Wyman join them in any capacity whatsoever? - Hope so, even if they're only invited as VIPS in attendance (VIP gift merch bags included).
Will there be special guests outside of Stones alumni? - Hope not.
Will they add any new songs as regulars (like they did with 19th Century Nervous breakdown)? I'm hoping CYHMK becomes a regular. - Maybe, but wouldn't count on CYHMK as it's too long and Ronnie butchers the solo.
Will they shake things up further with the setlist for the sake of the 60th? - Hope so.

Two more questions:
Will they have actual rarities during the song votes? Songs that have rarely been played, or maybe never been played live at all?
Will Keith continue with the same colorful snow beanies, or will he opt for something a bit more celebratory, stylish, and elegant such as a fedora?

well, Bob's a couple of years older. He's also played more shows since his 'Never Ending Tour' began in 1988 than the Stones have played in their entire career. They have a bit of catching up to do yet. smiling smiley

Great points. I’ll see Bob Dylan March 23. Probably for the last time. Probably seen my last Stones show too. Sad thought. We all are truly lucky to be alive while these legends are still performing (along with many others).

Absolutely. Its sobering to think after all the great artists we've lost in the last 5-6 years or so, but the next 5-10 are going to be apocalyptic by comparison.

The stage pretty much means absolutely nothing and would have no significance whatsoever

I’d say the money would be significant.

We're not talking custom stages of the Voodoo Lounge or Steel Wheels variety. Pretty much just video screens and scaffolding (much less than what used to be required) somewhat creatively arranged. Pretty much like every other stadium gig happening these days.

The No Filter stage isn't even all that different than the Metallica stage that debuted the same year. Maybe they can trade for 2022.

So, I was just looking up how much tickets for Elton John's show at Hyde Park are, wondering if maybe we could go there too before the Stones show the next day...and there was a picture

of where the various ticket categories are, so I looked it up for the Eagles which play the day after the Stones and they are the same. So I guess it probably could be that for the Stones the categories also will be the same?

Also I read that someone said a few sites back that in 2013 they were early for GA entry and therefore managed to stand really close to the stage...so I was wondering how many hours early you should be there?

I fear the opposite : dying before my heroes. As much as I love them (Mick Keith Bob) I'd much rather see them "go" first.
As a lad of the early 70's I'd take it as a great injustice to die before guys born in the early 40's.

It totally does. There was an interview with Stufish (the stage architecture company) a few years ago where they said the stage takes 3-4 of those 15-show tours to pay off. And therefore they have too keep it minimalistic because otherwise it would be even more expensive

I dont think so. It is like no stopping - just a teaser. But means it will be No Filter again I assume

Which is fine!

Back in 2013 there was no pit. Now it looks like there’s two pits before the GA starts.

There was a pit on the right side of the catwalk in 2013. Setups for other artists don't mean anything. In 2013 they were different each evening.

Yes, they changed them overnight from Bon Jovi to the Stones in 2013.
