Aged 78. Wow- So soon after Rusty Youngs passing. Cotton replaced Jim Messina in 1970 and stayed with the band until 2010. Founded Illinois Speed Press prior to joining Poco. A late period clip with Paul on his Gretsch.

FYI, "Kind Woman" is a song found on the "Buffalo Springfield: Last Time Around", album which is really great. Richie Furay sings it, I believe, on the Springfield album. RIP, Mister Cotton. That heavenly Boomer Band has welcomed another member.

Used to do a lot of driving around after transfer upon transfer posting with my job in the 70’s. Had the radio going all of the time in the car. A lot of good music came out of that radio that made the driving very enjoyable. “Heart Of The Night” is a great memory from those times.
