No, I don't know anything about Harold Colson.

Got a link to his website ages ago, probably from here.
His website is mentioned now and then when there's talk about the 1972 tour.

I think the 1792 tour was only shot in black and white super 8.

I doubt it. It's probably Bill Graham's work.
You can see some Robert Frank footage from San Francisco 1972 in CS blues; "All Down The Line". Much closer to the stage.

Yeah, you're right. ADTL is mostly close up from behind, and BS is close up front. Very intence filming and no long shots. Seems like Graham did much filming on that tour. Also make me think of some of the fottage from the winter tour '73 which have some filming frow the back of the audience, and also the snippet from Perth with the ping pong balls in Crossfire Hurricane.
