I'm surprised they're continuing on with this. The unvaccinated have put us back in the hole, and might make Covid even worse for the vaccinated.

Certainly plugging his name like he's more than a guest.

You don't really expect full concert sets from any of those people, do you? There are only so many hours in a day and the set up and take down for each would be lengthy. I expect they will all be "guest" appearances of one magnitude or another, I doubt Patti Smith will be doing a whole set, probably just a number or two, maybe with the Bruce. I think they will use Jon Batiste and his band from TV for the house band and bring on the singers.

I certainly don't - I expect it to be along the same lines as the 9/11 concert. At most, a few songs from each.

What a mix. Who will perform with who? Andrea Bocelli and LL Cool J?

The print ads list the artists alphabetically, but a TV ad just led with Springsteen. If he doesn’t do even a small set, some folks will likely be surprised.

I hate to be snarky, but, in that photo, Clive Davis looks like he should be a well dressed gnome on the late George Harrison's lawn. Regarding the show itself, you gotta wonder: Jimmy Fallon, Don Lemon, Andrea Bocelli? I do have hopes for Barry Manilow. I can't wait to see him getting the crowd going on Copacabana.

Lightning strikes in the NYC area have caused a mid-show cancellation. Fans instructed to leave Central Park and find shelter.

Update: CNN now reporting concert officials hope to resume the show, with or without fans.

It's looking like the show WILL go on without an audience, but that's nothing new these days. Good on the producers and the network.

Yes Hurricane Henri is gonna hit smack thru NYC, who is slated to get up to 12 inches of rain, Long Island, CT, and RI. It's going to be worse than Gloria, which hit back in '85 as a CAT1. Last reports say it should get to a CAT2 at landfall. Fools to try and keep this going. The rain is supposed to start tonight and not stop til Tuesday. And it's a full moon, which is what set off Superstorm Sandy.
