Looking back, in recent years they have started rehearsals weeks before the first show. This year you have to factor in Jordan and probably some added time off/rest too, as the guys aren't getting any younger.
In 2017 they started rehearsals on August 21, the first show was in Hamburg on September 10, 20 days out.
In 2018 they started rehearsals 17 days before the first show.
In 2019 they started rehearsals at the end of May, with the first show in Chicago on June 21. More than three weeks out.

There is usually, in recent years, a week or two of rehearsals with no backing singers, or horns. Then they go to a full production stage and everyone joins-in. But thats after not playing for only 9 months or less. This year its a 2 year break.
The first show this year is 20th Sept - and the full band rehearsal starts 2 weeks before (approx 6th Sept), so I'm guessing they'll have 2 weeks before that to get SJ (and everyone else) up to speed.
Rehearsals may have started one week ago...

There could be work started gettin' the rhythm section in ship-shape already, albeit in NYC or Boston.
Any arrival by Mick and Ronnie might be more visible on social media, but the other core members could be at work right now.
