I'm really don't think this is true. The chance you die when you're double vaxed is very very very small. I dont havena great deal of faith we (public) are getting the truth. I have a friend that is a nurse in NYC that warned me they are admitting fully vaxed ppl. Nashville had 9 that died fully vaxed. Its all worrisome. How long are the vaaccines effective? It is a horrible way to go out. I'm probably overly paranoid but will never forget the lined up tractor trailers in NYC used as temporary morgues. Ugh.

I'm sure everything will be fine...well make that 99% sure....actually, not so sure about anything at all given the news regarding the recent surges, mask mandates returning, etc., etc., etc.
And there's the MLB baseball games being postponed due to players and staff members contacting the virus....if it can sideline much younger baseball players, well...
That being said, bought a single ticket for L.A. today and will be hoping for the best...I'm vaccinated (though that might not mean much these days)....gotta keep on rolling.................

Summer Tour Begins Tonight — Please Read!


This summer tour has been a long time coming, and everyone is thrilled to finally kick it off tonight!

As excited as we are to be back on tour, the world is not yet back to normal. If you’re coming out to a show this summer, it goes without saying that with the recent rise of coronavirus infections nationwide, a good measure of caution and common sense will go a long way towards keeping everyone as safe and healthy as possible.

As we’ve said, the best thing you can possibly do before coming to a show is to GET VACCINATED! Furthermore, as social distancing is not possible inside the venues, we highly recommend wearing a mask at these outdoor shows when closer than 6 feet to others, regardless of whether or not you’re vaccinated. Being vaccinated AND wearing a mask at these shows is the best way you can show love and respect for our incredible community.

While venues will have quantities of free masks available at every show (for tonight’s show, there are masks available at the medical station inside the main gate), please be sure to bring your own. Please check with venue websites before you head to the shows to see what containers are permissible to bring in; many venues have adopted a clear bags policy in an effort to minimize contact upon entry.

We ask that you please DO NOT COME to the show if you have tested positive or been exposed to someone who has tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 14 days, or are experiencing symptoms of the virus.

Thanks for keeping these precautions in mind — we’re all in this together. It takes each one of us to make sure that we can all continue to see live music safely.

Not to question your choice, but I had heard that if you have had COVID before and are double vaxxed, you're basically bullet proof. Is this an homage to Keith, "One More Shot"?

Definitely not. A close friend runs a vaccination clinic in the Pacific North West and he said expect the recommendation of those over 65 or with compromised immune systems get a third shot coming soon. Getting a throw away dose will get me the third shot earlier if some flat earther doesn't want theirs. Feeling crummy for two days (when I don't have shows) is better than getting Covid. He takes a shot every three months due to his health condition and has four.

The Stones have become very clever at managing a two hour stadium show full of episodes and interludes.

Manchester was so good. One of the best Stones shows I have ever attended (done 30 in all). Midnight Rambler was sensational, especially Charlie-led slower middle bit.

2021? Given the conditions and the circumstances, it is more likely the shows will be “it is what it is” types, that’s my guess. I just hope there won’t be a last minute cancellation, be it a specific date or, in the worst scenario, the entire tour. Fans have been waiting for the day for so long. No more Hanging Rock 2014!

I (came over from Europe twice) missed both Hanging Rock concerts too. Luckily Australia as a country had lots to offer, so we had a good time anyway. 2014 wasn't "Stones lost" anyway, because Abu Dhabi, Pink Pop (NL), Stockholm and Düsseldorf were great concerts. And waiting for the Stones to come ... well, I had to wait 8 (!!!) years between 1982 and 1990 (couldn't afford to the USA in 1989), so 3 years isn't that bad. If I would find any really responsible excuse, I would still "sneak" into the USA this year, but the chances that it happens are currently not more than 5%, I'd say.
Anyway, I keep my fingers crossed for all American (and other lucky) fans!
