It seems rather realistic, given what Mick says these days, that the 2021 NO FILTER tour was the last US tour. Obviously their age is a bigger factor but COVID showed that even the Stones have to wait for things out of their control, yet alone Charlie dying.

Obviously no one will know until after 2022.

Where has Mick said that 2021 was the last US tour?

I’m curious too. I can’t imagine him saying that.

I seem to recall that in a recent interview, Mick talked about the much beloved instagram photo's at local hotspots and places like the thirsty beaver, and he then indicated he did so because he expected it to be the last time he would visit those places. I quess that 'final usa tour' conclusion was based on that quote.

I must’ve missed that interview. I haven’t got that impression from the interviews I have read and certainly not from the live shows I attended.

Mick made no reference to "the last time" in the recent Washington Post interview with Geoff Edgers.

Given the situation with Charlie, I've no doubt that they were probably thinking about it in those terms, a last US tour, at that point. And while he may not ever say it overtly it probably just 'slipped' as that was front of mind.

That said, I think anything is possible given the success of the tour. Everything depends on the health of the other 3, and how 2022 goes. This may not be over quite yet.

In this climate anything can happen but I think any last tour of North America would have included New York. My speculative guess for 2022 would be 8-10 shows in Europe, 8-10 shows in North America. A lot of people will want South America, Japan or Australia, logistically those are difficult unless they choose one venue for multiple shows. I am debating whether to go see a 60th Anniversary show in London, it might be a fitting end to 40 years of seeing The Stones....

Rolling Stones Tour USA 2021.

Just now, a thought came into my head that the USA Tour of 2021 was probably the most successful Tour of the year, in all respects.

Once it kicked off, every gig was great for us Stones fans and I'm sure for general music fans who attended, maybe for the very first time.

No cancellations or postponements, and a whole lot of money made, and Lucky Dips for most of the shows as well.

Well done to Mick, Keith, Ronnie and Steve and all the band and Tour staff who made the Tour so successful.

I'm sure Charlie, looking down from above, would have given his full approval. smileys with beer

apparently the frequency or something was changed and its now very hard to capture the signals

someone was able to get a signal from i think mick

but its not very good and the person who captured it doesn't wish to share it

The releases listed on [dbboots.com] are either audience-recordings or from YouTube.

Those Pollstar statistics are incomplete, with just 12 of the 14 public shows. They are missing numbers from the two last shows of The Rolling Stones i.e. Austin Nov 20 and Miami/Hollywood Nov 23.
