Montreal? Where would they play in Montreal in November?

Sadly, Canada has probably seen its laat Stones show.

I cannot express how disappointed I am that Vancouver was cancelled. Stones haven't played in Western Canada since 2006... I'm disappointed they couldn't hold off and announce it later, if possible, and cancel later if need be.

Yeah but Cannada have gone a bit radical in recent times, a bit over the top when it comes to covid, can't say as I'm surprised the Stones saw that venue as too risky, same situation with New York.

Why not play Calgary or Edmonton then... Alberta is wide open as far as restrictions go.

I wonder if it’s something to do with crew & equipment crossing the border?

Calgary doesn't allow concerts in McMahon Stadium, which only holds around 35k. Edmonton in late fall is iffy, could have snow by then.

Is there a pre-sale for New Orleans? Can somebody post the link, please?

From [RollingStones.com] : "The pre-sale for New Orleans (+ LA & LV) will commence on Wednesday 28 July, 12pm to Thursday 29 July, 10pm (local times)."

Sign-up link for pre-sale: [Twitter.com] .

I know, but when was the last time the Big O in Montreal hosted a concert?

Anyways, with Canada a lot has to do with logistics/border issues.

Hearing Vancouver had a hold for October but ended up getting cancelled.

But hey, at least the stadium in Montreal is called a "stade"! winking smiley

there are still places they can add to the end of the tour.

Montreal, Toronto, Syracuse all have domes to play in.

What do you mean? Did you buy LD tickets before?

You don't just 'get" LDs now. You had to buy them back in February 2020 for Tampa basically.

Of course, if you want to get a refund for the seats you currently have, you can do that and buy new/better ones, if available.

why are there so many tickets left at such a late date?

- people have other things on their mind
- people can't or don't want to afford tickets
- people don't care that much about the Stones (in 2018 there were many tickets left for shows in Germany and they had to lower the prices to sell them)
– people had their tickets refunded
- people are not willing to travel
– etc

Thanks, Hardball...still researching.

Can you get across the freeway on foot in Las Vegas?

On LA, I've found, for example in Denver, that getting a cab or Uber after a show is nearly impossible.

Hi Angee,

From my perspective I would always rather pay a bit more and stay in a hotel walking distance from the show. It makes getting in and getting out so much more enjoyable/less stressful and that in turn makes the show so much more fun without even thinking about how I'm going to get out. Getting a cab/uber/lyft is often times near impossible for a long time after the show and yes I have tried to walk a bit before calling a ride service and that still often doesn't work. I count myself as fortunate that I can stay in hotels close enough to walk.

I have had too many miserable experiences (Foxboro/Rose Bowl/Dodger Stadium, to name a few) getting to and out of events that if I can't walk it takes away a bit of the enjoyment factor for me.

Thanks!

For Detroit, it seems impossible to get a refund at this moment!!

Yes Mandalay Bay Rd turns in to Hacienda Avenue and goes over the freeway.
From the back of the Luxor/Delano/Mandalay Bay Hotels and across the freeway to stadium. (see google maps).

I have a ticket for Detroit and contacted them prior to the announcement to see if ticket was still refund eligible and received a response of yes (I kept ticket but wanted to understand my options in case couldn’t make new date).

You need to click Contact Us and then either email or chat and request a refund. I’d recommend going by email. It may take a few days for them to get back to you but they will get back to you and you will be able to get a refund (at least as of 1-2 weeks ago).

For reference, I did not see a refund button since the time of my purchase (bought after postponement but before new announcement). For other Stones shows (Nashville), I did have the Request a Refund button.

Had read earlier that the least amount of walking to the stadium involved taking a tram from Excalibur to Mandalay Bay, where it is the shortest.
But this looks even easier. Thanks.

"The best option to get to and from Allegiant Stadium is to walk from Las Vegas Boulevard via the Hacienda bridge, according to the stadium’s website. Concertgoers can park around the resort corridor and take public transportation to the area and then walk. The trek takes 10-15 minutes.
Hacienda will be closed between Las Vegas Boulevard and Polaris Avenue during large events and on game days, when more than 20,000 attendees are expected to use the bridge."

For those at Excalibur, you can take free tram to Mandalay Bay to shorten walk, and from there go over Hacienda bridge.

For those familiar with Atlanta, is mass transit/Marta a viable option to and from the show so don't need hotel walking distance from the Stadium? I may make a weekend out of the trip to Atlanta and can't get a hotel within walking distance to the stadium at this time. Thanks!

Might be a good idea to ask the city-related questions in the dedicated threads?

The threads can be found using the search function.

Fair.
Course- Vegas, LA, and New Orleans threads would have to be created.
Don't want to step on toes, doesn't bv typically start those?

*Most city specific threads (except new ones) can be accessed through the home page.

They'll have to decide soon: Rogers Centre (SkyDome) is planned for demolition.
