Undercover is the only Stones album I never listen to. I have Undercover of the Night on 40 Licks. The rest is sub par.
I always thought Pretty Beat Up sounded like Ronnie. He wrote it, and Bill wouldn’t do that triple slide up bit at the end. It sticks out too much.
Might be Keith though…
No Stu, then no Bill and the swing was gone.
It swings, and it's Keith on bass. The sax is fantastic. Mick, too. Stu on organ, allegedly.
