Don't laugh, but I enjoy a good Disney flick from time to time. They can be very entertaining and the technology of animation has increased markedly since the early days of Porky Pig.

These songs were She's a Rainbow and Sympathy for the Devil.

They were heard at appropriate times to describe the scene or a character.

Cruella rocks! In addition to Stones, some great other stuff by the Doors, Ike & Tina. Worth seeing.

Admittedly I've not seen the film, but I thought Glenn Close plays Cruella's mum, and Cruella is played by Emma Stone?

I'm sure I'll be swiftly corrected if wrong.... which is as it should be.

Glenn Close is only in it in a producing capacity. No acting in this one. I guess nothing for her to add to Cruella films actingwise beyond those two live action ones.

Emma Thompson is starring as her mum, isn't she?

It's a pretty rock n roll movie for Disney, although it is PG-13. The whole soundtrack is pretty much 60s & 70s (since that's when the movie takes place), rock and funk tunes, used quite liberally throughout, often one right after another. There are plenty of 'rock video' kind of sequences. Kept me interested, but it's a pretty good film, anyways.
