I've always loved the Dead, saw them with Jerry in 1979, as well as later incarnations of the band (Furthur, Rat Dog, Dead & Co., Mickey Hart Band, etc.)

Out of curiosity, I checked the ticket prices for the current Dead and Company tour that comes here to Atlanta in October.

Lawn Seats are $150 each, with additional fees, good seats upwards of $300 or much more.

I wouldn't pay that kind of money to see anyone other than the Stones and a Led Zeppelin Reunion tour, and most likely not even then.

Anyone else think these prices are just beyond outrageous?

The resale prices are absurd.

Your curiosity apparently led you to a reseller. Lawn tickets in Atlanta are $51.50

New Years Eve tickets were $25 with Jerry. Last New Years Eve ticket for 2020 was $250 with service charges.

Tickets to the Rolling Stones were $3.50 and people had a fit.
