Old Habits Die Hard
Anyone like this Mick tune from the Alfie movie? Its defintiely standard solo Mick but I think one of his better ones.

Giving Mick his first and only Golden Globe award, if memory serves.
BTW, an aside. I believe 'Habbits' should only have one "B". It sort of looks like "Rabbits".
Which reminds me, when it first came out I actually heard it on the radio, afterwards the DJ came on and mocked Mick's lazy slurs on the song, and sang it back in "Elmer Fudd-style"...ie that Wasically Wabbit.
It was funny - though mean - and cannot hear the song now without thinking about that.

Love that song and actually there are a few other really great tunes from that " Alfie" soundtrack ( produced by Dave Stewart). Check out " Darkness of Your Love", & " Standing in the Rain".. I also prefer the version that Mick sings without Sheryl Crow, although her version is not bad at all.

It's good. It's great. It's Mick at his best. Way better than Stealing My Heart and whatever the other one on FORTY LICKS is.

Yep, good one, too bad he didn't save it for ABB, or maybe Keith had vetoed it earlier ? The Sheryl Crow version is great, should have been a "single", although I'm not sure it ever surfaced in CD quality ?
