The Tree Man DVD - playing in Great Britain?

My apologies if this has been brought up before I'm wondering if anyone in Britain (or Europe) has found it easy enough to play Chuck Leavell's DVD on their player.
My copy is NTSC Region 1, unfortunately and I've not been able to watch it yet. Some Region 1 DVDs do play on what I have but no luck with this one yet. Any advice anybody?

Not used a DVD player for a long time so my advice might be out of date as may be the website! I used to 'region free' all of my players and those of friends by accessing the codes off this site... [www.videohelp.com]

Thanks, I'll give it a try. It's funny how some Region 1 DVDs do play on my machine.
